Crummy weather!

Nice & warm outside but the winds have been blowing at 20-25mph & gusting up to 35mph for 2 days now. Also lot's of rain forecasted but it's hit or miss so you don't know if it's going to rain on a certain course or not. Really itching to play but I know everytime I do so when it's real windy like this, I just end up getting pissed off.

It's so humid here! The smell of rotting carp coming off the bay is incredible. I live about 500 yards from the bay, maybe less. At least the wind blows some stench away. But if it is this hot in spring and no wind is blowing, I won't go anywhere near the road along the bay.

I played with my son-in-law Friday night at Far Vu in Oshkosh. Nice little muni course and was warm and calm. There was on and off "mist" but no real rain. Very nice except the greens were SLOW. Shot a couple 44's mainly due to putting. Son-in-law has improved dramatically and shot a 49 and 51.

We had 80mm of rain here yesterday. This is pic from the 10th hole at my home course, this creek is normally 4 feet wide. In this pic its over 30 and about 7 feet deep in the middle.

We got a bunch of that rain too, Lyle. Only 50mm though.

But it's nice right now, +20, no rain. Will most likely go out for a round tonight.

Sorry, I thought it was a thread about crummy weather in WI. I live in Green Bay, the bay of bad smells.

It's been a torrential downpour ever since they blew the sirens yesterday to get us off the course. Supposed to continue through the night into tomorrow (Monday). I'm building an ark.

Am I imagining things, or are the Wisconsin boys always pissin' and moanin' about the weather?

Too cold, too hot, too wet, too dry,....

Damn right. That's because it's all in the same day.
