My home course was hit hard by the floods & currently has 13 fairways under water, lots & lots of water! Anyway they are planning on re-opening tomorrow with 5 holes for $5. More of a pain in the butt to head out & play a lousy holes than it's worth. Here is what they have posted on their website.

The Golf Course will open five (5) holes Thursday June 12th.

5 HOLES WALKING	$5
5 HOLES RIDING	$10
Community Card (ask for details in pro-shop)	$5

Pro-shop will be open 7am to 7pm daily.
There are 14 fairways under water #1 - #13. There are 5 greens under water 1,2,3,8,10. The water peaked Tuesday and by Wednesday afternoon it had receded by 8-10 inches.
Golf special 1/2 price if you take over 5 gallons of water with you when you leave.

Most asked questions?
YES!! the fish are bitting by three green.
NO!! you may not launch a boat off of one tee.
YES!! the casual water rule applies to four feet of water in the fairway.
NO!! we did not gather animals, or build an ark.
YES!! the shed by the putting green will be used as a boat house.
NO!! C.C.C. did not do this on purpose. Or maybe they are afraid to play us in the Two-Club-Cup?

At least they have a sense of humor about it. If anything, go play them twice and hit different clubs off the tee each time. Good practice for the price of a bucket of balls around here.
