Accuflex Creation 80 vs evolution

Last year installed a evolution shaft stiff in a TM 460 head. Unbelievable results. Tight dispersion and good distance. (good) I have been playing with reshafting and gripping, building for about 2 years now but was considering the Creation Shaft for a new driver. There are times when I try to get into one that it feels like the clubhead is kicking backward at impact (like I am losing distance). I don't want to lose the control the evolution gives me but I am always looking for more distance. Is the creation shaft something to consider? What are the characterisitics of the creation. Are there other shafts that I might consider? Woudl appreciate some experienced advice & views.

Being that the Creation and the Evolution are my two favorite shafts, I'll throw my hat into the ring.

The Creation in 65g plays much stiffer than the 80g version, IMO. It's much more stable and plays more like the Evolution, to a degree.

The Evolution, I found, had a tad more spin to it, which I didn't need as a high spin player. In the driver, I had good results, but the Creation was something else. low spin bombs that carry forever. Exactly what I wanted.

I tried the Creation 80S in my FW's after salivating over the Evolutions for months. I loved them. However, the Creation 80S experiment has been a flop for me and I'm going back to the Evolutions ASAP.

The 65S is a great shaft. You can really go after one and get fantastic results, or swing well within yourself and get even better. There are a few guys here playing the 65S (I think most of them are mine ) and love it.

I say give it a go, especially if you liked the Evolution. Give it a chance tho. One range session won't tell you of all the excitement that that shaft holds within it.

I'll chime in, as I have both these shafts in my bag at the moment. Like Rock said, the Creation 80 plays much softer than the Evo. The Creation feels excellent, very smooth and responsive, and I can feel it kick through the shot. The Evo feels much stiffer, and doesn't kick as much, but it plays great in my 3 wood. I've never had them in the same club, so I can't compare spin numbers, but these shafts aren't going anywhere soon. Definately give the Creation a try.
