My prayers go out to you and your family. I think like most anyone who spent a bit of time on this site, I had the utmost respect for him and the caring nature that he had for everyone here. He not only shared the love he had for this game, but the love he had for your family.

Sad news....Bravo was an exceptionally nice guy and had some great post. I hope his family is doing well and spends the holiday season together relieving the good times and forgetting the bad.

I am so sorry to hear this. John was such a good guy and it was always clear how much he loved his family. We were very close to having a golf outing in Birmingham a few years ago and it seems especially sad now that we didn't manage to pull it off.

Wow, I don't know what to say Catherine. I am so sorry for you and your family's loss. I know how you must feel, I lost my Mom the same way and it devastated me. As feeble as it may sound, time does heal all wounds. Your father was well loved on here and will certainly be missed.

We have a golf outing planned in Tn. this coming April and I was greatly looking forward to meeting Bravo. I can assure you we will raise a glass or 2 in his honor and in fact, from this point forward, the April Tn. golf outing will be called the John "Bravo" Bretz Memorial Outing. We would be honored if you could come as well.

I was shocked and saddened to hear the news of your father's death. My deepest condolences go out to you and your family.

I just lost my mother in early October to a long battle with cancer. I can't begin to imagine what you must have gone through.

We are all like a big, happy (sometimes) dysfunctional family here and your father was one of us. He will truly be missed.

Please stay and make yourself at home. Most of us come here to relax and socialize and occasionally talk about golf related things too. I think you'll always find you are welcome here and hopefully will enjoy the experience.
