John Daly: Such a Class act!!

Got this link thru the Golfchannel morning email.

I guess I would have been impressed if he had hit the ball thru a phone book or something.

C'mon, let's give John a break! He is obviously getting better 'cause in the past he would've NEVER used a full beer can. Honestly, say what you will about Daly but I do find him entertaining!

You would have preferred he used a bottle of Cristal?

kinda stupid,..he was just trying to get a laugh,...and did. Those Celeb/ Pro am are very relaxed.

they let that loser Kid Rock play, and play in over alls.

Cool trick, he is a sideshow, but he does attract crowds.

I enjoy John Daly. Golf has always had a character or two on the tour. This display certainly would not have been appropriate for a serious tournament; but for a Celeb/Pro Am it wasn't too over-the-top.

I'm pretty sure this same kind of discussion occurred among golf enthusiasts when Lee Trevino pulled his rubber snake trick on Jack Nicklaus.

That was the reason I posted it. . .I thought it was funny too, but leave it up to Daly to be the one to do it!

Kid Rock. . .why a loser. He's been with some of the hottest women in Hollywood, he's made of money, and he hangs out with Bocephus! Can't be all that bad.

I agree - he's a poseur, but he's definitely not a loser.

LMAO, if he is a 42 I would be surprised. I played in a charity tourney in Detroit about 5 years hosted by WRIF radio. A lot of local celebs were there including Kid Rock. He was 2 groups in front of us and because of delays I saw him hit about 10 shots. He is freaking horrible, I am not sure if he had ever golfed before even, he was that bad. He did belt out a few tunes afterwards which made the whole day worthwhile.

They showed one of his tee shots on ESPN yesterday & I thought I had an ugly swing Christ I look like Tiger compared to Kid Rock.
