You know you are addicted to Golf when....

10. You have a tee in your pocket and you haven't been to a golf course today.
9. Your clubs are in your trunk during the entire season.
8. When someone says she is a ho. You think I did not know she liked buying golf clubs.
7. You made your kids name their chipmunks Chip and Putt.
6. Your wife stopped asking where you were, instead when you walk in the door she asks what did you shoot?
5. You have a putter in your office.
4. The best day of your life will be when the 909 comes out and you no longer have to feel guilty about not buying the D2.
3. From April until October you have at least one club on order everyday.
2. Your wife introduces you to the new neigbhors The Camerons and the first thing you ask is do you know Scotty.
1. The last three times you argued with someone about who was better Jack or Tiger you got into a fist fight.

OK, GPO, you're right! I have one of my own. You know you're addicted to golf when: Your wife gives you crap for missing her birthday so you could shoot 36 holes with your buddys. You get home at 8:30, well 'cause you stopped off for a couple of drinks and when you get home your wife starts in on you...where have you been, don't you know it's my birthday? For God's sake, can't you think of me for once in your miserable life?!?!? "cause you've had a few drinks, and you're tired from 36 holes of play, you get angry, I mean Real angry! It's time, yes it's finally time to show her who's boss! You grab your clubs from the trunk, carry them in to the living room. You pull out your 9 iron, yeah, the one that got you the birdie today, yeah that 9 iron! You think to yourself "I've had enough of this nagging...who the hell does she think she is talking to me this way", but you're a smart guy and realize the trouble you would get in hitting her in the head with your 9 iron. Yeah, that club saved you from bogey today! You put your 9 iron back into your bag and relax a bit, deep breaths, OK, there you go, it's all better now! Then you proceed to beat her into a coma with your 3 iron. Good choice, a 3 iron...if you bend the shaft on that club it could only improve your game! You sit back, you smile...wait a minute!!! Is this post really going throught?!?!?! Ummm, anyway, that's how you tell if you're addicted to golf! Do me a favor and don't post this! I hear it's just become illegal to assault your wife with a three iron!

1. When your church changes summer worship service to 9:30... you change churches. When they had 10:45 services, we could get 18 in and I could still make church. Think I've talked the wife into attending another with an 11:00 service.

2 When you're on the road all week, get home late Friday evening, and have tee times for early Saturday and early Sunday. Last time the course was tied up for a weekend tourney, you called the son-in-law and went and stayed with them... rather than going home. No golf... no reason to go home!

3. When Golf Galaxy is about 50 miles out of the way, between work and home... and you don't even consider adding the extra cost of fuel used to the cost of what you purchase.

4. When your course gives out shirts at the member's tourney each year and you have enough to wear a different one each day of the week. The folks at work ask if you "own" a golf course... or used to work at the course... because the only thing they see you in are shirts with the course name on them.

5. When all your khaki pants have stains at the cuffs from "dew sweeping".

6. When the dash of your truck has old score cards, tees, ball markers, golf gloves, etc. and you never have time to clean them all out.

7. When you're walking along at work and find yourself sweeping your right hand, practicing your "chipping" form. People ask if you're having elbow or shoulder problems because you seem to be "exercising" it a lot.

8. When you have one bag you keep the clubs in all week in the back seat of the truck... carry bag and doesn't take up much room. Will let you sneak in 9 after work without having to lug a cart around the country. Then, immediately after kissing the wife hello on Friday evening, you have to go to the basement and change to one of the larger bags for Saturday/Sunday.

9. When, after you played 54 holes in the two days last weekend someone at work asks if you had a chance to play over the weekend... and you answer, "Not nearly enough!"

10. When you go shopping with the wife for a new digital camera, today, and tell her to purchase the more expensive of the two she has picked out... because you still feel guilty for sneaking the new G10 driver into the bag yesterday!

I hate this game!! Going to sell my clubs and buy checkers and a checkerboard. Too old to play golf! Need to begin practicing something I can do when they put me in the nursing home. Stupid game!! 8:30 shotgun, tomorrow morning for the second day of the members tourney. Called the daughter and asked if she and the granddaughters would accompany Mom to church tomorrow.... since I'm tied up!!!!

Your brother-in-law is getting married tomorrow... and you, and his father are planning to skip the reception and hit the course instead.

You come in to work Monday and instead of asking how your weekend was, everyone asks you how did you play?

You call the Pro Shop and they recognize your voice and set up your tee time.

The company dress code forbids wearing hats or shirts with other companies name or logos on them, but nobody says a word when You wear you golf hats or shirts, well, not anymore at least,
