I've found that mosquitos are attracted to the natural human odor - the more you sweat and stink, the more interested they become. So find a stinky golfing partner. One of those big dudes that sweats in winter. Just don't tell him you're playing with him all the time because he stinks and you're using him as skeeter bait.

I don't know about the human odor thing. I do know the bags on the cart had hundreds sitting on it. Carbon dioxide is the culprit. You exhale it and it exits out your pores. And they say certain colors attract them and of couse "movement".

I've tried all the home remedies with no results. Find the bug juice with the highest percentage of Deet. There is one version of Deep Woods Off that has tons more then the normal one. Can't remember which one...

Found it. Deep Woods Sportsmen (small bottle) is 98% Deet!!!

Yeah, the mosquitos in Saskatchewan are brutal. Deep woods off works great, taking vitamin B all summer really helps me. Also, when golfing, place a sheet or two of bounce dryer sheets into your back pockets, effective as well.

But if you look at that Deep Woods Off link I put up above it shows different Deep Woods Off products contain different amounts of Deet. Anywhere from 25% up to 98%..

Tried this last summer (along with a bunch of other guys in our group) and doesn't work at all on Wisconsin mosquitos...
