New job, no golf, lots of snow

Well, started a new contract today. Yay me. Better pay too, which is nice.

We also got 2 more inches of snow. Awesome.

Golf is done for 6 months. F#@&!!!!

Anyone want to send me part of their lawn in the mail, y'know, just to remember the good ole days?

Congrats on the new contract. More money is always nice. Too bad about the snow and no golf. If it were possible I would be happy to send you about 20 degrees as it's going to be over 90 again today. I know it will cool down soon because it's always miserable the first weekend of deer season and that starts November 1.

So is this new contract the reason for the private island estate?

I think so. I'm pretty sure i've moved into the upper tier of the social hierarchy, so i think a paultry 18 million is worth it.

Well, I know ya don't wanna hear about it - but we're in Prime Time here now....

Summer's heat is long past and we're in that time of year when the highs are in the 70's and lows in 50's and 60's. We sleep with the windows open from late September into early November on many nights.

Courses are still lush and the bentgrass greens have recovered from the heat. Superintendents aerate and top dress the greens in late September and by mid-October they are fast and true....Leaves will fall in November and we can play in shirtsleeves most of the time.

Ya need to come down here for that Porsche Cayenne Driving School in February at Barber MotorSports. Highs average in the mid-50's in February and we can play in a sweater then....

No, I've never liked the taste. It's just a very big deal here. They wander our neighborhood like gangs. Wouldn't be much of a sport when you could get one with a hammer. We've had them born on our driveway and once on our back deck.
