Do you know the difference between a BMW and a porcupine? The porcupine has its pricks on the outside.

Let's see. Faldo won in consecutive years. I think it was 19XX and 19XX. Those were the only two green jackets Faldo wore, so Woosie must have won in 19XX.

I didn't think Faldo won consecutively. He won in '90 and '95, I'm pretty sure. So it's either '96 or '91, and Tiger won in '97 and it wasn't Woosnam putting it on, so I will say '91

Here is a great site for majors

Golf Major Championships - By Year

On my honor I did not look it up before answering. I knew Foldo was back to back.

Good job. 1991 it was.

I bought a used golf book, and that color photo from the newspaper was inside.

Love Woosnam's trousers.

Is it just me or does that guy in the lower right corner with half a face look like a much younger Phil Mickelson?

Sorry for the threadjack.

Woosie's trousers were lovely.....but I always remember Bernhard langer saying how he regretted his choice of outfit when he won in 1985 - he was careful on his 2nd victory to avoid looking like a Christmas tree

I always remember Langer's outfit that year. I thought it was so cool. I think I wore red trousers that summer in his honor. If memory serves me right, he also wore a Wilson visor. That was a "must have" too.

Boy was I ever sad when I was 18!
