Hi

Does anyone know of any service in the UK where you can get your wedges stamped. I'm going to treat myself to some new vokeys and I wondered if anyone knew.

Thanks

You could try doing it yourself. A guy I know has something similar to this and he stamped some of his own clubs.

I know that Cleveland does laser etching of logo's and names.

Get CG12 instead.

Or you can just get this done... http://www.vokey.com/wedgeworks/cust...ewOptions.aspx

How do these work out? Do his clubs look legit or can you tell it's a little shady?

They worked out just fine, but I'm not sure how to explain it. They look different from what you might get from the the SC Custom Shop, a little rougher I guess. Wait for Wi-Golfer to report his findings.

They worked ok, especially considering I rushed it. On the bottom of the club I only hit the G 1 time while the others I stamped twice. On the Hosel I hit the G once also while the others I rotated downward a bit on the 2nd hit so the entire letter would show up. If someone wanted to take their time, this could work very easily.

Not too bad looking. Just be careful not to fly the green, after all, that's an 8iron, not the gap wedge.

That looks good. I'm sure you could make the "dancing" style if you wanted to.

Did you clamp the club in a vise and just hammer away at it?

For the sole of the club I opened the vise up & just rested it on top, sort of like using an anvil. For the hosel just laid it on the work bench. Like I said if someone took longer than the 1 minute I spent just seeing if it work, they could turn out a nice job.

EZ, I will get bigger punches & label all the clubs as "GAP" wedges Tee off on a 180 yd par 3, hmm think I will use the gap wedge.
