Competition To Me

Its my crack. I go nuts for it.

I'm actually getting into a couple small tours around here, realizing that I was actually on a downer after this last tournament.

I need to compete, rec play isn't the same when there's no sight of it being "worth" something to me. Do I still enjoy the game? Yeah, of course. But there's a competitive side to me, especially in golf, that just changes this game in all the right ways.

Oh, and today my grandpa calls me and says, "Jito, did you golf recently?" I'm not a very good grandson, see, so I forgot to tell my grandfather about the tournament. Well, I tell him yeah, and how I did and he said, "I thought so, one of my friends said you were all over the leaderboard." As I said, not the prideful sort. But thats an awesome accomplishment.

And its a feeling, love, and obsession, with competition and winning.

Is the sole purpose of this thread to boast that you won a tournament, or that your grandfather loves you?

Should have made is more clear, I suppose.

The Competition To Me, is what feelings competition brings me to (the good ones anyway), and was an opener for others here who enjoy it, and for what reasons they do.

No, oddly enough.

I'll post up the paper tomorrow, I gotta run to the paper place and pick it up. Forgot to get it today.

And the website for the courses I played at is practically non-existant. They are curiously behind the times.
