2 of the courses within a short distance of me - Black Bush & Beaverstown, a couple of fine holes on them ...
Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience.

LMAO ... that's been a constant problem ... people starting at the back without asking permission first of all

I have been kicked off a course or two for trying that myself.

Returning to the topic at hand ........ I've just heard on Setanta' golf coverage today that Mr Perry also pulled out of the US Open earlier in the year. He mightn't be making the most popular golf decisions, but they sure are working !

  6. He never pulled out of the US open. He just didnt bother trying to qualify as he wasnt given a spot.

Thanks for the clarification Lyle......... but you see what I mean, he has performed exceptionally by making the right choices for him

  9. Dayam, Kenny Perry is putting better than most right now. Has he always putted like this, or has he discovered some secret?

I still don't like the way his swing "looks", with that hitch and pause at the top, but his move through the ball and impact dynamics are outstanding, especially with the driver.
I'd love to be able to do that.

Do you know the difference between a BMW and a porcupine? The porcupine has its' pricks on the outside.

  10. I really don't understand the controversy. Lot's of golfers opt out of lots of tournaments all the time.

Snead never went across the big water (to the best of my knowledge). Hogan only went once, he won in '53 then didn't go back to defend his title.
It must be awful to have to work for a living.
