The 29th is right during the heart of my harvest. If it's raining I'll be free but then its raining ---Catch 22.

Hey if I do not make it I may be able to shake free for a round down in the SE Wisconsin area later if weather is OK. Might be fun to see WBL wearing earmuffs and hand warmers. Maybe some brandy to warm up. Or since he has Norwegian blood Aquavit. Potent stuff.

Sorry Eric but I really try to get down there. I need to see THE ANIMAL hit that driver again:laugh:

Thanks for asking me in my introduction thread. I'm interested and live about 10-12 minutes from Silver Spring. If you end up with an uneven number I have a buddy that might play, too. Depends whether he has his kids that weekend.

My game is a mess right now, but you can put me down for a 'maybe' pending location. I have never golfed in Wisconsin, but for an interesting course, I'd make the trip.

I know you guys were talking about playing Silver Spring. Have any of you played Washington County in the Town of Hartford? Really nice golf course.

Hmm, if I were going to play in Hartford it would have to be Erin Hills although it's pricey as all hell. $140 for residents & it doesn't appear as if they will have any fall rates this year. They are closing Oct 5th to start working on course enhancements to get ready for the US Amateurs event in 2011.

If I were you I'd skip 4 weeks at my normal course, just to play Erin Hills.

September 27th @ Silver Spring Country Club In Menomonee Falls on the Island course. Is a 10:30 am starting time good for everyone?
