Last round of the Summer.

School started today, so yesterday was my last round before the "terrorists" arrived in my classroom (I'm still a teacher). Highs, lows and other happenings of note:
1. Broke my golf glasses on 6, had to finish with bifocals.
2. Got a case of mud-butt, found a napkin in my bag and ran into the woods to fix the problem. The napkin shredded and I got brown stuff all over my fingers. There was a ball washer at that tee box.
3. Beer cart broke down, next to me when I was waiting for the group ahead of me to clear the box. The cart girl was wearing this delightful, peek-a-boo shirt that showed her bosums. I wasn't arrested for sexual harassment.
4. Birdied 18 to card an 88.

I'm still trying to figure out if it was a good day or a bad day.

Drank beer. Played golf. Took a dump. Perved out on the talent.

Sounds like the perfect day.

Cripes, I'm going to think about that every time I use a ballwasher now. Nasty.

Let's see, broken glasses is easily negated by the Bird on 18 to break 90. Hmmm... beer and titties vs. $hitting your pants, that's a tough one, lol.

I don't use those. If I can't clean the ball with the towel and a bit of spit then it is saved for use on a water hole.

I think ball washers are unsightly.

Not only that, but here in the south, sometimes with the humidty and the rain, and heat.. If the washers are just plain water, they fill up with rain water and then start to get nasty sitting there cooking in the sun. Some of them have left my golf balls smelling rank as shit.

It's official, a good day!

...and, I teach Computer Science, Web & Multimedia in an Inner-city (ghetto) high school to the little buggers that can stay out of jail.

Good day!

There should be a hidden camera show where golfers are taped hitting on the beer girls...god that would be hilarious...because you know the closer to 18 they get...the better its going to get.

And on a related note, I too will be playing my last round of the summer shortly (possibly on saturday) as I am going off to school this weekend, and my schedule with 35 hours a week of classes wont let me play golf that much, even if I could afford it.

Uhhh, that wasn't the rainwater that did it: wirehair was there.

wirehair, you should have held your "mud" splattered fingers up to the cart girls' nose and said "What does this smell like to you?"
