Finally back in States

I came back from ON, Canada yesterday, but i'm at best western in WI. it feels good to be back in US, not that i have anything against Canada

but.. Canada.. wow.. what a beautiful place. especially around the lakes and mountains. i'll post some pictures up later. i also got $1 and $2 canada coins that i'll be putting in my bag as a ball marker. just to remind me of this trip.

haven't been playing golf for 2 weeks now. not even a swing. i didn't think about golfing while i was in canada, and there were tons of golf resorts. at least i know i'm not addicted to golf...

anyways.. still 2 more days until touch down in Boston. so i'll talk to you guys lata~

oh and ez... get your game ready!

You know, you're in WI, so you're not really back in the US...it's kind of a no-man's land up there!!

Welcome back, twofast...safe travels home!!

You know that Canada is bigger than the U.S. don't you? Saying you were in ON, Canada is like saying you were in California and Oregon. Where did you find mountains in Ontario? Where were you?

the "mountains" in Ontario... Sorry, but that's just funny. But the great lakes are amazing. Come see the lakes in BC though, theyre actually warm . Lake Okanagan is awesome.

I dare any of you to come to BC, take in everything, and honestly say "I would not want to live in that province anywhere". You know how provinces and states have slogans and such, BC's is "The Best Place On Earth". It's that for a reason. Most beautiful place in the world I've ever seen.

I have lived there for 5 years, and was just about going to go there for University, and I completly agree, it is definitly one of the best places I have been. Although housing in Vancouver and Victoria is ridiculously expensive.

I definitely want to visit BC. I've been to Seattle, and I know BC is even more amazing. But live there? No thanks.

I want to get to BC, myself, but first I want to visit Prince Edward Island for some golf, oysters, lobsters, and mussels. I believe Millriverman from this forum resides on P.E.I. Probably not next summer, but the one after when my daughter is 13 and a more accomplished player.

As far as living in Canada? It's a nice place to visit, but the cost of cigarettes and liquor is ridiculous. I would rather pay for my own health insurance and be able to buy cheap booze and coffin nails.

Actually the Norwester mountain range runs right through Thunder Bay. Not rocky mountains by any means but peak elevations of 1500 feet and they look real nice. My home course has them along a 6 hole stretch of the back nine.

Y'all can have the cold...I'm 2 1/2 hours from the beach, 4 hours from the mountains. Would never disagree about the beauty or appeal, but I'm not moving any further north than I am now.

If I move, it'll be to the coast.

Not to be a dink, but Saskatchewan has "mountains" like you describe that exceed 1500m, which is 4500 feet ASL. The highest point in Canada between Labrador and the Rockies.

The course out in Cypress is nice. Not great, but nice.

Lyle, you ever played Clear Lake, MB? I was out that way last weekend, very interesting course to say the least.

Most beautiful place YOU'VE ever seen. Give me the ocean and some nice white soft sand and I'll take that any day over huge moose everywhere and snow.

Been up there, it is definately beautiful...but BC is too expensive, especially considering the 2010 Olympics, its only getting worse.

Oh, and I love New Mexico, few places I've seen more beautiful than here.
