Shaft'd
Greetings gentlemen, today I bring to you the issue of a driver shaft. I've been hitting my stock Wilson Matrix Driver for a couple of months, and since I started I've gotten much better with it. Today, I was terrible.. but I still shot a 40 somehow. Generally though, I can hit between 240 and 260 comfortably into the fairway. I'm young (17) and absurdly attractive, so I'm wondering if I should invest in getting the club re-shafted. I certainly feel that I can swing fast enough to make a stiffer shaft worth-while.
The shaft on this is a stock "Men's flex" (regular). I really want the potential to get another 20-30 yards, and I don't know if it's worth spending all that money on a new driver just to end up with the same problem. I like the Taylormade R580XD (because it's not THAAAAT expensive, compared to others), but I don't really have a problem with my driver now. My 3 and 5 woods are also shafted this way. I get about 210 with my 3 wood and 190-200 with my 5. Would you recommend re-shafting these as well?
Thanks fellas
