    Golf Schools in the Southeast

I found this site working the Google on the Internet machine. Couldn't say how great they are. My schools days are long past.

  3. Not great search function if you know the teacher but not the school.

Jean Harris, Rose Hill Golf in Bluffton SC. Don't even know if she's still there. I went to golf camp with her elsewhere, but thought she was great. She's the type who'll keep finding different ways to express a concept until you get it.

Don't know what you call "great."

Leadbetter is at Champions Gate in Orlando.

The Faldo Golf Institute is in Orlando.

Annika Sorenstam's School is in Orlando.

A very different kind of school called "Golf Made Simple" has 3-day workshops in St. Augustine. I attended it and saw my handicap drop from 22 to 15 in a month. I shot my best round ever (80) two days after the school. Thing is, they don't teach mechanics - and I mean no mechanics at all. They base their entire teaching philosophy on the idea that visualization, rhythm, and tempo are all you need. It's a bit tough to buy into, but I can't argue with the short-term results I got.

Cool! Haven't seen her in a couple of years, but she was great. Where did you know her? I had her at Sandpiper, down in Florida.
