Shoe Cleat Cleaners

I played an early round on Monday at a local course (Cog Hill, Lemont, IL ) and afterwards my black widow spikes were packed with clippings. My in law said, come over here, as they had a shoe cleaning station that used compressed air to clean the shoes. It worked great! But I don't have a compressor at home, so is there any magic tool out there you can buy that works well?

Every single golf course here has a compressor by the clubhouse to clean your shoes after your round.

Is that not common everywhere else?

Our course just has a stiff brush pad you can drag your shoes across. Guess we're slum'in it.

I have a feeling that it's related to the wet weather we have here. It's not uncommon for the courses to be moist at any given time, as well as that we play through the winter, generally, which is VERY wet.

It's taken me several minutes of using the compressor to clean off my shoes in the past...the days where grass and wet stains soak all the way up to nearly the knees.

Yeah, my courses just have the brushes to clean your shoes on, but it always works. If I'm home, I just use the brush I use to clean my clubs. Never had any problems.
