Holes of golf this year. Played 64 rds of 9 holes & 41 rds of 18 for 105 rds & 1314 holes in total. Played 31 rds at Pauquette which is my local 9 holer & 17 rds at Kestrel which is an 18 holer.

Later on if I get bored I will add up the yardage of everything.

Anyone else bored enough to add theirs up?

Wow just added the numbers up & it's kinda cool.

Total yardage was 401,574 & that averages out to 305.6 yds per hole, & typically I was playing from the whites but have recently started playing blues.

Total footage is 1,204,722 & if I divide that by 5280 I come up with 228.167 miles of golf. Which basically is from my house to Racine & back.

Interesting. I have no idea how many rounds I've played but it's got to be in that neighborhood I'd imagine. Now, how much $$ did you spend on rounds of golf this year? I probably spent 1/3 of my income.

I don't want to add that up, although if I had to guess it's probably somewhere around $3,000.

I had a community card at Kestrel which is like a limited membership, norally it costs $42 for 18 with a cart. With the card it costs $20 & you also get 20 passes to the range. Card cost me $100 but I saved over $350 by purchasing it.

I would consider a membership if the course had a lot of reciprocal courses on it as well. I didn't count the number of different courses I played this year but it would be somewhere around 30, I really like variety & checking out all the great courses around.

I've probably averaged two (18 hole) rounds a week this year. But WG has me beat by a huge margin. And it really showed in his scores. How many strokes did you cut off your hdcp WG?

No idea. At least 75 rounds, countless 9 hole rounds, and many more times I snuck out during twilight hours and played 3-5 holes until I couldn't see the ball. Had a flashlight in my bag.

Not really sure as I don't have an official handicap. Looking at the scorecards & comparing beginning of the year with now I was shooting 46-50 in april & may. Now on the same courses the scores have been 38-42.

On a tougher course such as Lawsonia I would shoot upper 90's, now that's dropped to upper 80's.

I have been tracking scores & this is 18 holes as well as 9 holes. For the last 30 rds my average has been 83.7.
