Thought I'd share something I've recently found which has helped me immensely. I looked on youtube for golf instruction video's, to try and cure a few problems. After the first time I watched them I went out the same day and shot 8 under my previous best and also used the warm-up that I'd seen demonstrated on the video's.
The second time, after a further week of checking them out and practicing on the range I shot a further 4 shots lower than my previous 8 I'd improved on.
I'm going out today and this time I'm making myself a barashim to keep my mind active on my shots. For those who don't know, a barashim is a photo-reduced sheet of A4 paper which my students in Kuwait used to use to cheat in exams. They'd type out their notes, photo-reduce it to about half a credit card size then palm it and use it to cheat in tests and exams.
I've made it a standard music tour laminate size (2.75" x 4.5") with printing on both sides and a hole punched to cable-tie it to my golf bag and it basically has the main points such as ball position (front or back in stance), weight (forward or back leg), hand position on grip (regular or low), swing tips, stance (open or regular), club face (open or toe'd in).
I thought this would mean I could be walking up the fairway, thinking about my next shot, and getting the tips into my head for when I'm addressing the ball.
The youtube video's I've been using are from a guy called Joe Beck and his username is golftips. You can also get the video's at www. onnetworks.com.
I've attached the notes I've made incase anyone feels it might help them to do the same....
