I bet she couldn't duplicate that shot again if she tried.

This happened in one of my traveling groups one time...a player hit a nice high 7 iron which hit a goose in the leg as he crossed the green with his gaggle.

We were on the ground laughing...

That's funny! And what are the odds of catching it on video?

NOT funny to everyone, guys. I see animals die almost every day, and I get sensitized to stuff like this.

Funny would have been for the ball to shank and hit her husband in the nuts.

She should know the rules. Pick that bastard up and carry it for the remainder of the round.

That's our "unwritten rule" that we play.

"If, at any time during a round, a player kills or maims an animal of any size he/she must carry said animal for the rest of the round, whether it be in their bag or with thier hands. Humans don't count as "animals"."

Ok, that would've been funnier, and if we bend Rock's rules a bit she would've had to carry him the rest of the round.

I hit a goose once that was in front of the green at a par-3. Didn't kill it though, just p'd it off about getting hit in the arse. I guess I should have yelled, "Fore!"

I witnessed my brother, the north of the 49th parallel's least consistent golfer, hit a huge cut drive on hopping it off the ass of a deer from 260 yards.

The guy shot a 109 for the round.

How's that for luck?
