Freezing my hips!

Up until July I was playing really well. From July my game has fallen off a cliff. My irons especially have been very erratic. Through a little trial and error I have worked out that my head has been moving and my hip turn was turning into an Elvis sideshow.

My swing thought recently has been to try and keep the hips as quiet as possible on the way back. They obviously turn a little but I am consciously trying to limit the involvement in the swing. I can feel a great deal of tension / coil building in my legs, especially my right knee and shoulders, especially the muscle under and behind my left armpit.

The result has been nothing short of dramatic. Irons are once again crisp, driver is arrow straight and long. I'm really excited with this discovery.

Voila, le Happy Camper!
