No, it isn't. Either your speedo is horriby wrong or your exhaust manifold is cracked. Both are likely. Mine looked like this and very easily got ~14mpg in city driving and ~16mpg hwy. It got about 10mpg while the exhaust manifold was cracked.

Yep, they jacked the price big time!

    Dude, you spelled "Wrangler" wrong!

Or more to the point - got the old ones off yet?

jdub, I'll save you some trouble (just in case you don't already know.) The stud end of the stock end links is a tapered seat into the swaybar. It can be a real pain to get loose, but it's very easy if you know the magic trick.

Take both end links loose from the axle end. Now swing the swaybar down and around as far as you can - it'll rotate all the way around until it's touching the bottom of the front bumper and the ends of it are sticking out the front of the jeep. Take the nuts loose on the end links. Now whack the stud with a hammer. One or two hits and the endlink will shoot right out. It will quite literally shoot out, by the way - make sure nothing is in the path, because it'll knock the crap out of it. This is a helluva lot easier than trying to seperate them with a pickle fork or trying to knock them out with the swaybar rotated in its normal position.
