Is it too cold?

Hi all,
Suppose to get up to 70 tomorrow so obviously I wont be working. 10 AM tee time. But my question is " is 70* too cold for shorts?" LOL
Sorry, know thats cruel to all the canadians and northerners but 70* ummmm.

I know what you're saying.

It's about 75 degrees here, winter. But equivalent to a summer's day back home in Scotland.

Just had my in-laws out for a week or so and they were sweltering. But I genuinely found it on the cool side and no way would I have worn shorts for general stuff - walking to the park etc.

But for golf..? I think so, I'd have worn shorts for golf out here.

You have to wear shorts anytime it's above 40 in the morning and supposed to be sunny.

70 is a MUST for shorts.

Maybe if it were 50 and raining, overcast, with a 20-30MPH wind, but 70?

I hope this is a joke.

This is one of my pet peeves: to see somebody wearing a down coat, a hat, and shorts and flip-flops.

I have a 1PM teetime on Saturday, and I will NOT be wearing shorts. Ben Hogan didn't wear shorts, except when he posed for the illustrations in 5 Lessons

Golf should be played in plus-fours, a long-sleeve shirt, and a coat and tie.

Wicking fabrics? Bah!
Shorts? Disgusting!
Metal shafts? What is the world coming to?

Tradition, I tell you! We must preserve the old ways...

Or is that auld ways?

I like to play eXtreme golf naked. It's not a sport if it's not eXtreme.

Shorts are good down to around 60 for golf, especially if you're walking. I'd rather wear shorts and and a pullover than wear long pants.

That might play ok if you stay in the fairway, but down here some of the really rough is sticker bush and while i dont mind being scratched while naked I dont mean on the course

Come on down BBDunk and I'll buy. I got a great deal going now at my favorite course, just $13 a round for the cart now that I bought a two month winter pass for $50.
