Well, I just paid my money for the April seminar/golf outing. Thank God for plastic. I'll probably skip the August one in Myrtle.

Plan:
Friday morning: drive to Kiawah, go to seminar
Friday afternoon: play golf on a overpriced resort course
Saturday morning: go to seminar
Saturday afternoon: play in my first ever tournement. It's gonna be just the people at the seminar, and I know nothing else about it. I assume some sort of handicapping system will be used.
Sunday morning: go to seminar
Sunday afternoon: drive home, should get home to see most of the final round of the Masters on TV.

Anyone got any hints as to how to play well in a tournement?

Do you know the difference between a BMW and a porcupine? The porcupine has its' pricks on the outside.

1. Only take the number of strokes needed to get the ball in the hole.

2. Don't cheat. Ever. But if you do, make sure no one is watching.

3. Always eat as much as you can afterwards. That way, you've won.....in some sense.

4. Take a cart for the tournament. Your beer doesn't spill as much in the cart.

I'll take 50% of any prizes.

UPS will have a package for you about the middle of April, Rock. Disregard the smell.

Seriously, I'm gonna go balls to the wall practising and I'm gonna win this bitch. Right after I finish this beer.
