left or right?

Picking up a bit from the John Daly practice photo on an earlier thread, I wondered whether anyone here had tried to play a round one handed. I foolishly broke my right hand when I was about 15 punching my locker after a bad front 9 which then led to a few weeks of left hand only golf. It was so frustratingly difficult but i managed to go round after 3 or 4 weeks in about 20 over as long as i putted with both hands.

About 3 months ago i had some stitches in my left side so I couldn't extend my left arm, so off I went again however this time playing with my favoured right hand. I had nine holes and was 9 over and noticed that it was much easier with this hand, I was much more accurate and hit it longer. This contradicts what I was always taught, that the left side is the power side and the right side is for accuracy.

Have you tried it? Is it beneficial as a practice drill or is it just good for a laugh?

There is always a dominant side, and it usually is your right hand, for right handed golfer.
But I think it's preferable to practice with both hands, as they need to work together.

PS: If you shot better with your right hand than your left, that means the right is more accurate. So you seem to prove that right side is for accuracy
