Best Golf Movie?

Could it be Goldfinger?

Goldfinger had probably one of the best golf scenes in a movie, but I would not list it as the best golf movie. It was on AMC yesterday evening so, of course, I watched the golf scene again.

Caddyshack and Tin Cup are my 2 favorite golf movies.

Caddyshack is great, but The Legend of Bagger Vance sure makes me want to get out and play. Its more inspiring.

Caddyshack. Easily.

Tin Cup had it's moments, one poor one being Rene Rousso. Terrible.

I liked Bagger Vance as well. It does indeed inspire me to go out and play. I have always intended to add it to my DVD collection, but just never seem to find it when I am thinking about it.

I still list Caddyshack and Tin Cup ahead of it, but it was a good flick.

Best movie that the wife can tolerate: Tin Cup
Best I had a rotten round of golf and I hate this stupid game and never wanna play again movie: Happy Gilmore
Best I wanna be taught a moral lesson: For the Love of the Game

Another good golf scene in a movie:

Sideways. The scene where Miles takes the ball that the group behind hit into them on the fairway and turns around and hits it back at them.

Caddyshack. Baby Ruth candy bar in the pool was a classic scene.

And Carl Spackler is one of the great all-time comedy characters in a movie.

I loved the scene in falling down where michael douglas is crossing thru a golf course and the old fart hits a golf ball at him and he takes out a shotgun and the guy has a heart attack. Mostly because I know guys just like that old guy.
Caddy shack
Tin cup
Bagger vance
Happy Gilmore
