Man I wish spring would get here already...

I turned my local country club membership in the other day. (my company is paying for it...all I had to do was sign my name ) I finally got a set of decent irons. Taylormade 200 steel. And I just won an auction on a brand new R580XD driver. (yeah, I'm a beginner as you can probably tell by my equipment)

Who else has the itch, and what are you doing about it?

Well here in Oklahoma it has been unusually warm this season so I'e actually had the opportunity to get a few games in. Otherwise I sit glued to the Golf Channel or practice my chipping in the back yard.

We have had an unbelievably good month weather-wise in N.Ireland. It has got up to around 7 or 8 degrees (45-50 f/h, I am guessing) most days this year and has been absolutely gorguous.

Can't wait to the Spring and summer time, though - it is hard to beat out playing golf in the bright sunshine

Move south, we play once or twice a week all year.

This year has been very warm, even for here. It's in the 70s again today.

Shouldn't that read: "Reigning Mulligan Champ", Dave ?!

Wow that'd be nice. I couldn't handle the heat in the summers though. I just need to own 2 houses... one here in PA and one south.

I'm playing tomorrow (Florida) and it's going to be around 45-degrees at my 7:22am tee off. What the heck am I thinking? Golfing in sub-60-degree weather? I must be insane.

Just got back from Orlando yesterday. Got an 8am tee time so we could make or flight. Played with a guy from Minnesota. Everyone at the course was complaining about how cold it was at 45* when the round started. We just kinda laughed and said this was a nice day for our standards.

It flurried up here this morning, can't say I'm glad to be back quite yet. Could only get in a couple rounds because of downpours on Friday, most of the courses were closed.

I'm definitely starting to get cabin fever here!

I managed to get three rounds of golf in Houston a couple of weeks ago, so I got a fix that will help me get through the rest of the winter.
