That one chick summed it up by saying "She isn't a golfer, she's a model pretending to be a golfer."

She really has no business being on the show, as she has zero game.

I also find this show hard to watch. The one gal that had that sidehill lie, who is supposed to be a "women's golf instructor" does absolutely nothing to hit a proper sidehill shot, and ends up topping the ball. Wrong balance, wrong grip, wrong swing.

How can she be an instructor when she doesn't have a clue?

These sorts of things make me question alot about what goes on with this show.

That was Kim (right?)...I don't think she is a golf instructor is she? There were some questionable shots....but like ualtim said, some of these ladies have game. Especially short game.

I dunno if it was Kim, I don't know any of their names. It just had "Women's Golf Instructor" under her name as she was being interviewed about the shot.

Then she hacked it. I shook my head and watched some Olympics. It was pretty much a given who was gonna win all those matches.

Stuff like this makes me laugh:

"She was 20 yards in the fairway farther than my ball, that was in the rough!" (I think that was Divina?)

Last time I checked, your ball doesn't roll well in the rough, that's why it's there. Have some of these girls never played golf before? Taken out of context, but still stupid.

This reminds me of BBIII. There are 4 girls that can play and 6 that can't.

Well... Seeing as how this show is (pretty much) for entertainment (seems everyone is jumping on the "reality show" bandwagon these days) I personally don't watch this show to glean any sort of "insight" to the game. I will admit though that I do rather enjoy the nice ass shots the camera gets on these girls as they swing clubs and bend over to pick up thier ball

Almost forgot another Nikki classic. 190 yards out from the pin, hits an iron shot than lands like 30 yards short of the pin. She turns to the camera and mugs it up touting how she just hit 6 iron from 190 yards out.

I am sure the other competitors were equally impressed........

As far as the instuctor goes, those that can do it, do it. Those that can't do it, teach it.

TJ on BBIV was an instructor as well, and even though he made the final 4 I did not see an aweful lot in his game that I would want to copy or have him teach me.

You guys are all nuts. I love the show. The gals they picked most all have a ton of game. Most of them know each other from the Futures tour and from Q school qualifying. Jeanne, the asian girl, has qualified for 2 US Opens. Divina's sister is on the LPGA tour. Becky won the 2002 US Amateur.

The gals can flat out play.

Plus, most of them are pretty good looking with GREAT golf swings.

I watched BBI and was intrigued, but really, none of those guys could play. What were the requirements? 2 handicap or better or something?

At the end, in the match play final, did you keep track of what each of those chokes shot? I think I did and remember the one beating the other 80-82 or something preposterous if you kept the medal score instead of the match.

A final of 2 futures tour players should produce a little more drama.

I didn't like that nobody went home in this week's show though.

Always a good show for sure. I watch the All access stuff too. Some neat stuff.

Anybody watch All Access last night?

I have it Tivo'd and am going to watch it tonight.

That first All access was pretty cool. The part I liked most was at the end where they did the "BBV Raw" part where Jo D ran off, was it 3 windows in a row or 5? It was cool to see it in real time on 4 different cameras.

On the actual show, they interject all the interviews with the girls between each shot, thus "extending" the competition for TV. To see that run in real time was pretty cool. Only took like 2 minutes.

Each of the actual challenges probably take less than 15 minutes to film. It's the damn setup of a billion cameras, and moving them from place to place, that take up all the host's, and girls' time. There must be a LOT of standing around for the gals between competitions.

I guess I don't see Nikki as such a bitch because I have seen the all access show. For the actual BBV show, the directors and producers and editors can make each of the gals look how they want to. On all Access, she seems more like "one of the girls". At least in the first one.

I'm looking forward to seeing the second All Access tonight.

I'm ashamed to say that I DVR BBV

I watched it last night, there's some nice golf swings in there, plus a US Amateur champ, and a bunch of futures tour players.

My money is on the Aussie. I like Becky's attitude and you can tell she's a playa, but being 4 years removed from the Am win, and still no tour? Something wrong there.

I am thinking that it is going to come down between Jeanne and Becky, although Julie looks to be a scrapper that seems to enjoy being a longshot and you can never discount that kind of desire. Should be a good show once they get rid of Nikki. From the previews of next week, it looks like Nikki is going to try and play the injury card. Should be fun.
