A schema for what kind of DB? If it's SQL Server just use DTS. If it's something else you'll more than likely need a custom app.

I have a auction site in php. I need to turn a excel spreadsheet into a bulk upload. I use the same sheet for ebay but my site doesn't like the format.

So basically you are looking to replace the existing game tracker software (assuming you are paying a sub for that) I'd need to know a few things to get an idea for the limitations.

Example -

What kind of webserver does shottalk run under?
- Tomcat? IIS?

Does it have the JVM on it?
- If so what version?

What kind of database are we talking about?
- MySQL (typical for small webhosting places)
- SQL Server 2000?
- Oracle?

I'd need these questions answered before I'd be able to know if I could help you.

OB - check your PM. If you have a licensed version of SQL Server 2000, this might be something you could do yourself. I can help you if you have any difficulties.

JVM = Java Virtual Machine.

If it's Apache only, that means that you'd probably want to go with some sort of PHP or Perl database access layer.

I could do that but would prefer not to, ask your host if they have a servlet engine (tomcat) running, and if you can plug some Java servlets into the MySQL backend.

If not you could farm this out to some kid for a few bucks and he could write you some cgi that you'd have to do maintenance on yourself.

Or I could do it, I can't promise it'll be done tomorrow though.
