I Know I am new here but I need to ask.

Hi all,
I am doing a business study and would like your help.
I am looking into the world of Driving Ranges and need a few statistics.
Just a few questions. Your assistance will be greatly appreciated.
A/ How many times a month do you visit a Range. (Including golf clubs own.)
B/ Do you use a putting , bunkered or chipping area.
C/ How many balls do you hit.
D/ How much do you spend per visit. (Range balls only.)
E/ How much time do you spend there.

B: Putting area everytime, chipping area everytime, bunker area half the time.
C: 40 full shots, 100+ short game shots, 30 putts.
D: $6.00
E: 1- 1.5 hour.

A- winter 4/per; spring, summer & fall 12-15 times a month
B- yes
C- 100-150
D- $8-15
E- 1-2 hours

B:Yes to all three

C: 100 on the pay range, and that or more a mine.

D:Free on both counts

E:An Hour or Two depending on the day

C. 50-100. Less if everything is working OK. More if I can't work it out with a large bucket.
D. $5-$10 per visit
E. 45 min-1 hr. More if the problem won't work out easily.

Good luck with the range. As a caution, I've 2 acquaintences who had ranges, and it was a tough row to hoe for them financially. One had a gameroom and soda bar in addition to a pro shop, but it wasn't enough of a hook. The longest lasted about 4 years.

1-1 1/2 hours (about 30-45minutes on the range, about 1 - 1:15 hours on putting and chipping)
