It's getting there

The daylight hours continue to lengthen, and today I'll be leaving work a bit earlier to squeeze in 9 holes before sunset this evening. Ahh, but this coming weekend, we advance the clocks ahead one hour, which will make the mid-week twilight time an excellent opportunity to play some holes, get some practice in and work on the old game.

It just feels really good here this morning having that corner getting turned.

The days are just long enough now that we're getting in 18 if we tee off by 3:45 and the course isn't crowded. By next week it'll be no problem.

I usually look forward to the time change but this year it falls on the same day as a 10K race I promised to do with my daughter. I'm gonna be real slow this year.

Yep,in 3 weeks we will be back to our 4.45 kick off for 18 on Monday evenings, can't bleeding wait

In fact, the enviromentalists are getting on my tits about global warming, don't they know the golf season is at least 2 months longer than it was 25 years ago? Reason enough to drive a 4x4 and keep the tele on standby

I just took a quick walk around the building after lunch, and wow it feels nice outside today. Not warm warm, but warm enough, and lots of sun. I had to resist the urge to jump in the car and take off for a golf course.

I just got back from the range at Forest Hills Golf Club; went over at lunch to sort out my fairway wood problem. Just my luck: they are having a tournement; 150 dentists and dental students. The pro was about to pull what was left of his hair out.
