Rockford35 will become famous soon enough
I've been hitting this thing in the basement since I got it. Pure forged irons really are the cats meow. But when you miss it, you know instanteously.

When i go back to one of my X-16's, it feels like a shovel. But you sure can pure it like crazy.

I put some duct tape on the face of the 33 and I would say that the sweet spot is about the size of a dime. You can get 1/2 that dime and still hit it well. With my X-16's, it's a little larger than a quarter.

That's a huge difference when it comes to hitting a round object in a straight line.

Forged hey? Hmmm.....

If you like the feel of forged, but have trouble with the idea of blades, you can go to other offerings from Mizuno, such as the MP-30s, or something that I have a feeling you wouldn't like, the MX-23s (I loooooooove mine). MP30s might be right up your alley though - a good medium between the two, but leaning more towards the 33s.

I never thought I'd notice the difference in the forged clubs, because, well, I suck. But man, these 23s compared to my old TM Firesoles are genius.

I've been playing the 23s since last summer and agree with you. The have great feel and are still forgiving. Just can't beat that.

Youngun are you being serious people are giving you dirty looks for having blades, that is ridiculous . If someone gave me dirty looks for having blades I wolud ask them why they are giving me dirty looks and tell them i'm perfectly good for blades. You have shot in the 60's you are well good for blades, so how you hitting those ta1's? Those are the set of irons i'm trying to afford.
