| Here is something interesting Stolen straight out of Golf magazine, on approch shots from between 50-75 yards the average Pro leaves himself 16 feet from the hole. Think about that next time you hit one in onto the green. Here I have been kicking myself because more than half the time, I leave myself outside Dave Pelz's golden 8 feet, I feel a lot better now that I know that on average from that distance ONLY Jim Furyk is inside that 8 feet, with an average leave of 7'8", the next best guy on avereage is Fred Couples at 8'8".
The point is that I am going to be feeling alot better about myself out there because 7-8 out of 10 I can get inside 30 feet from that distance, and that means I am getting there.
