Hi, just thought I'd let everyone know that after 10 years of trying I've finally got out of the twenties!
Had a new golf book at Christmas and of the all the 20 games I've had this year I've played to or better than my 21 handicap on 18 of them. The real test was Saturday's medal (my first this year) and though I didn't win my division I played really well in the conditions - wind, rain and sunshine. And now off 19 (I know this is still a hacker to a lot of players but it's a real achievement for an arthritic old duffer like me!)

Hi, Thanks for the replies.
The book I have to thank for the improvement is about the psychology of golf - so I don't think I have done anything different except adopt a different way of thinking! (But it only works.)
