Nickent Genex Irons vs. Callaway X-16 or X-18..........

I have been playing golf for almost a year now....I love the game and am working hard to get my handicap down....I have a set of Nickent Irons, Woods, and the Pipe Putter.....Good clubs and somewhat cheap for the quality.......They are having a big golf sale here in town and the Callaway X-16 or X-18 set of irons are around $300.00....Should I "upgrade" my clubs or will it do much good??????????Are the Callaways better clubs????I will be taking lessons this year to help my game....I have just started breaking 100.....Alot of this has to do with my putting......That's a big part of the upcomming lessons........Thanks

if you can get a set of x-18`s for $300 i would grab it up.i bought mine last yr.for a cool $625 with no shiping fee or tax and tought that was a good deal.even if you dont like them you could prob sell them for $400 as they are still selling for $650 a set.

My God yes you should buy X-18's at that price.Hit them a few times and then if you dont like them sell them on for a profit, its a win win situation.
