I think there is an assumed risk when parking in a golf course lot.....the owner has to eat it in my opinion.

the course i play at there is one road which is straight through the golf course, this car was driving towards me but he was a fair distance away when i started swinging but by the time i hit the ball he was only 100 yards away.

I know that in BC, it is the golfer that has the responsibility for the flight of his golf ball.

In other words, here, it'd be your fault.

It's your fault if you're in AZ. Same goes with houses, other property.

The club will have public liability insurance, and the car owner should have fully comp car insurance, and your house insurance will probably cover it as well.

The golfer is held responsible around here . . . if he can be identified of course.

at Glenmore Park in Australia

you are responsible for parking your car
thats why its best to park in between cars so there is less risk of your car being the victem of a hacker

My car was hit by ball while I was driving by a course and the golfer's homeowner's insurance covered it.

Rockford35 will become famous soon enough
The golfer is responsible. If you hit a ball down the rough and some guys came out of those same bushes as you swung, it would be the same thing. You are soley responsible for making sure that the direction your ball may or may not go is safe.

However, I'm thinking the worst out of this is that you're counting two for the lost ball and OB.
