My wife, who knows nothing about golf, watched this interview with me and her impression of him wasn't great. He has alot of fans in the golfing world, but from her perspective he just looked like a self indulgent, irresponsible jerk.

I know people love him because he's a "regular guy" but even regular guys should put their kids first. Leaving a tournament and going to Vegas to drop 1.6mil when you could have gone home to be with family isn't my impression of a regular anything.

I'll bet he's fun to hang out with though.

I think he is a good guy at heart. He did give a big portion of his first tournament win to the family of a fan who was struck by lightning. He did all of that when he was in huge debt and really could have used the money. He has a big heart but a strong addictive nature.
