Bravo, was it you or Rock or someone else that brought up the pro suggestion about 1/4 tempo the other day? I read the post about a 1/4 rhythm and began practicing with this today.

I start the swing on 1, 2 is the top of the backswing, 3 is contact, 4 is the club coming across my back-- a nice little 1-2-3-4 relaxed tempo. I'm amazed at how comfortable and repeatable this makes the swing. Great contact, great flight.

I'm really stoked how this makes my actual swing feel and repeat as well as all of my practice swings. Also, I noticed that when I started this, my mind (for some reason) naturally put the emphyasis on the 2 and 4-- the top of the swing and the finish. Upon reflection, this seems to have taken contact away as the emphasis of the swing and curtails the tendency to try to crush it.

So, whoever gave this 1/4 tempo tip-- thank you. I'm looking forward to becoming more consistent.

It really seems to take some time, huh? I've played so little since Christmas it just hasn't become automatic yet but I'm commited.

I'm going with 27/9, so today I made a mini disc with just that tempo. I've started taking practice swings, with the player, when I'm outside with the dogs and even that seems to work for establishing tempo.

Glad to hear it's going well for you. Let's keep each other posted.

Guys, I have no idea how to send something like this but if Bravo can't do it let me know how and I will try.

Sure thing Bravo, thanks for the effort and if you need any help with any of it, many of us are quite computer savvy (read: geeks).

Thanks again!

Yep. I do. You may be running into an email size limitation imposed by your provider. Zipping them would help. Or splitting them into seperate messages. Thanks again!

Thanks for your help. I need more.

I took nine files that totaled to 25MB and zipped them.

After zipping - they total 24MB and my email system is still laughing at the file size.

Suggestions???

are you familiar with FTP?

You could upload them to my server and make them available for download.

You could upload them to some server on your ISP account and we could work from there.

I was afraid of that. Zipping actually just takes out repetitious information and replaces it with bookmarks. Audio doesn't contain much repetition, so doesn't compress well. You could put it out via ftp for download. I have an ftp site if you're familliar with uplaoding. Then everyone can just go out and download from there. Other than that, I don't know.
