Has David Duval turned the corner?

Tied 25th at -5 with rounds of 70, 68, 69, 68 total 275.

This is how DD finished at the weekend. I hope he has managed to turn the corner and this is the start of a return to form for the former world number 1. I never really took to DD as a person until I went to Lytham & St Annes and saw him win the Open championship. Probably had something to do with the shades and the cap, you never really got to see the person behind it. I admired him as a golfer but didn't really know the face behind the mask.

Anyways now I have nothing but admeration for the fella. It would have been so easy for him to throw the towl in with such a loss of form. I now hope to see him on the leaderboard week in week out. I have noticed he has been having a few good rounds but there always seems to be a high 70's or low 80's throw in.

Pretty simlar thing that happened to Lee Westwood and Monty on a lesser scale. I wonder what causes these dramatic and sudden loss of form?

I think DD is widely misunderstood. I refer to the phrase, "personalities are like noses, everyone has one".

Duval is an introvert in much the same way that Singh is. They are simply not outgoing, gregarious fellows. As a result, some members of the public label them as jerks or snobs.

I too wish Duval the best. It would be easy for him to throw in the towel but he keeps at it. Maybe someday he will return to form...
