...that the infamous "DaveIreland" will be making a trip north to play Portstewart at the end of this month. Looking forward to it as I could do with an extra few bob in the back burner...

36 holes might be on the cards, and I'd say we could maybe get back off the Tiger Tees to make things interesting

Yes indeed the date has been set as Friday June 30. We are in for a great day of 36 holes in the company of the illustrious Dave Ireland.

I have organised for a Hummer golf cart to be available that day for Dave's 32 clubs and accessories. And I'll also make sure that the plaque is in place on 15 to commerate Dave's hole in one from his last outing.

Betting / drinking stakes to be agreed in advance

Teh Master - are you finished school by that date? I'm sure Dave could pick you up en route. That would make a great 4-ball.

Andy, if Dave ever asks you about the correct line for the 2nd shot on 17, stick to the story that it is the 3rd house left on the hill, even if it seems a bit bizarre.
