With the Tour Edges it was real consistent, about three yards with any of my Irons. The 3 Iron had a nice low skidding three yards, and the 9 iron had a higher trajectory as it travelled its whopping 9 feet.

LOL.....this is an ongoing theme. Some sort of penis measuring thread or something, but whatever. These are my comfort yardages. I can turn on one and hit it farther, but I rarely swing more than 3/4 with my irons.

Lob wedge - 75 yards
Gap wedge - 105 yards
PW - 110 yards
9I - 125 yards
8I - 140 yards
7I - 155 yards
6I - 170 yards
5I - 185 yards
4I - 205 yards
7W - 235 yards
5W - 245 yards
3W - 265 yards
Driver - 285+ yards

I can consistently hit the driver 320+. But, I can consistently hit it straight 285.

I can also hit my putter 110 feet.

have you ever taken a full swing with a putter to a low teed up ball? it should go more than 110 feet!

About the exact same as yours Nsherman, of course you knew that since I believe we were playing the same clubs on all par 3's that day. Except I carry a 5W and a 23* hybrid. Also I go 47*PW, 50*,54*. Good to have you back BTW. Got any drivers you are looking to sell, I'm fresh out. Also looking for a 58* SW, beat up Mizzy preferred, really only need a head.

I have a 56 and a 60 for Miz wedges. I have quite a few drivers, whatcha lookin for?

I played 9 today barefoot. Subtract a good 10 yards from your distances playing that way.Underclubbed myself all day. Short game was on tho, shot 35.

This isnt so much an attempt at ego stroking, ive just always thought i was a long hitter, but im starting to play with people who hit it almost as far as i do. Just wondering if im misguided or my friends are just trying to hit it harder/are getting better

If the 54* wasn't one of the best clubs in my bag I would consider. Driver, just something cheap and forgiving until I figure out what the heck I want to drop $300 on next. I am actually all over every TM 200 series driver available now. I wouldn't mind trying a Launcher provided the price is right. As far as distance... when I started playing Triggs I got paired up with a lot of members my age. I'm usually lucky to be 2nd or 3rd in the group hitting 270-280. Most of those guys are low single digits at a 129 slope course that eats me for breakfast. Playing at the hack courses I'm usually longer than most guys with my 3W. I guess as you start running across better players you'll find 280 is not that "long" anymore. Just keep hitting those wedges the way you do and 10-15 yds. won't mean diddly come payoff time.
