How many holes you getting in??

How many holes you getting in?? (filthy minded perverts, this is a golf forum )
in an average week how many holes are you getting in these days? I am going by holes rather than rounds as I know a lot of us are playing a bit of twilight as the days are longest right now.

I've been getting about 2.5 average. Some weeks 2 some weeks 3. I'd like to play at least every other day but money is tight. I've been hitting the $12 after 5 special but it costs another $10 in fuel to get there and back.

I have enough free golf to go 10 rounds a month, however I have been averaging 1 round a month thanks to my work schedule and the rain.

I am a teacher so I am fortunate enough to be off for the summer and I'll pretty much play 18 every day that it's not raining from now until late August. The good thing about where I live (Eastern North Carolina) is that I get off work everyday at 3:00pm so I can get in at least 9 holes after work all druing the school year too. I usually will still have enough time before it gets dark to practice my chipping and putting.

Congrats on joining, I'm guessing that may take you to the +54 side in no time. I'm thinking we may finally join our course this year or next. The food has been pretty decent the last couple years, which was the main reason we didn't join when we moved here. You have a $90 minimum in the restaurant, and we only ate there a couple times in the first 2 years. That and the initiation fee, but it will probably be going up shortly.

A normal week is 18 on wed. afternoon and 18 on either Sat. or Sunday. Sometimes the weekend round gets stretched to 27.

Is this a golf club only or a country club with pool, tennis, etc? Goshen is golf only. They have a small snack bar but that's it for food. The clubhouse is big, with all kind of rooms, but they don't use a lot of them. It was built in 1970, and has changed hands a few times.

It is a Country Club, only I live in the community so we already have access to the tennis courts, pool, and restaurant as part of our yearly fees. So the Golf course is really the only thing it gives us that we do not already have, and it is a Fazio course. Not that I would even consider the pool, or tennis course over golf. It is actually reasonable in that it is only $2000 a year for both my wife and I, although we can play cheaper off the Golf Card which only runs about $40 a round and the golf cart alone is $17 as a member. What has stopped us from joining is the restaurant which has come around, and the $5000 initiation fee. Although the initiation fee is probably the same thing that will cause us to join. The reason being is they are building 800 houses on the back of the course and as a result we are guessing they will not only finally go private, but they will raise the initiation fee considerably.

Personally I liked my membership at my old course which was a Muni, the same price for 1/2 the quality a course, but it could be walked at no charge.
