Southeastern Wisconsin Golfers?

Anybody play in this area in these forums? I'm always looking for a partner. I play in a 30 mile radius around Waterford. Kenosha county, Racine county etc.

I used to work in Brown co and live in Oconto co. I miss the course selection of that area. Thornberry, Brown Co, etc.

i use to live in milwaukee but moved to n. michigan 2 years ago. a lot of nice golf around there, especially liked to make trips to geneva area. i loved playing hawk's view and actually will be making a trip over in the middle of july to play it again and also geneva national.

i might be up for cruising over if my schedule permits, but i would recommend playing lawsonia. that would be worth a 7 hr drive.

I used to live near Lawsonia and played it all the time. A very nice course.

have you ever ventured over the border to the illinois muni courses? i played one, i think it was called thunderhawk. its a links style course. very nice and if i remember correctly, inexpensive to play.

I do like alot of the public courses Brown County is only about 15 minutes away from me. Pulaski to be exact. Have you seen the new clubhouse at Thornberry? I guess its not NEW but very recent and it was up for Police Auction a little while back after the guy bought it back from the town. Anyway a very nice course. My grandparents are staying up in Oconto Holtwood Campgrounds to be exact i've been wanting to try the country club up there. Have you played there?

It appears central Wis would be best for all right? Like Stevens Point or similar? Lawsonia in Green Lake is also cool. Sssmokin lives in Wautoma. Don't know why he hasn't stuck his ugly head in this thread. Like Late August or Septemberish?

I'm open to any course.
