Outta the slump

I've been playing like total crap lately, but 3 days ago i managed to hack my way to a 39-36 75 at my home course. The next day i played 9 at a local track and shot a 2 under 34. Then i played 36 the next day and shot 81-78. I'm starting to get the feel for it. Today i went out and shot 4 under with 30 putts. I was dropping some, but got nervous towards the end when i knew a course record was possible (i think it's 6 under), and ended up with a 68. A few missed opportunities, but for me, it was a relief to hit the ball well again

I'm not playing in that thing. I tried last year but kept forgetting to put in scores, so i felt i would be detrimental to the team. Plus, i'd probably go out and shoot 68 for the first round and never meet my quota again

Join the club. I played a great round first time out and haven't reached potential since. Just sucks.

Nice shooting Neal. I was hoping I might catch up to you soon, shot a 79 yesterday, but I see you are always raising the bar. I've copied a little of your driver swing and I've been striping them lately, unfortunately I also found that damn hook. I am going on a trip to Florida to deliver some furniture but I'd like to play when I get back. We should see if VT and Loop are ready for a match. I will be back before the weekend after this one.

Sure. I'm heading on a run to Florida in the AM but will be back next Thurs. (I have 2 backloads). I'll be game for anything Fri-Sun. If you guys want to work out the details Nsherman has my cell. I'll be coming in with a wallet full of Franklins. Just kidding, my game is way to inconsistent to bet on it. I just got dropped to 12.5 but I'd probably never play to it on a tough course for the 1st time.

CT is too far away. You'd need to get to NH in order for Loop to be able to get there from Montreal

I'd be down for something in September, I'm free on Friday-Sunday. However, if i'm going to go on a road trip, i'd probably want to play more than one round, so i was thinking i'll try to find a cheap hotel or something for 2 nights and see how much golf we can work into our schedules. What's the deal with you guys?

We might be able to get a game one of those weekends at the Triangle like last year. Let me check with SWMBO.

The next 4 weekends are bad for me, i have tournaments next Satuday and Sunday, then i am in a show that's running the next 3 weekends. After that i start school, but my schedule is setup so i only go in Mon-Thurs, so any week in September or later works for me. If it's not gonna work out, it's no big deal, but it would be fun to try
