It looks like Rockfordsmartypants35 has more than a little egg on his face (god I love it when that happens!).

We'll see at the end of the year where he is on the money list.

Rock, this photo was brought to you by Humble Pie, "Made to eat".

Great to see the "wirey wee guy" come good. Hit one of the best 4 woods I have ever seen at the 72nd hole of the US Open. And good to see that he didn't waste his 26 front nine holes and fall back to 48th place.

I don't think he'll give a sh1t where he finishes on the money list. He's going to Hawaii!!

Dear Mr. Pavin

Up here in Canada we are naturally suspicious folk, so when I heard you shot a 26 on the front side Thursday, I kinda "blew off" your chances to my golf buddies on-line. I mean 26 is a good score and all that but most folk I know who shoot that kinda score ordinarily finish 48th in the tourney. So I guess I am sorry for "humping your ass" on that little matter. I mean it's not like you are that good. OK, so I'll give you a US Open, and for sure 25 tournaments worldwide is sorta OK, but man you are getting old. And don't think I am fooled by you shaving your head. I can see the grey baldness in your eyes.

You hit it too short to be a contender here in Canada. And you are too old to boot, way past it old timer. And what tourney was it that you won again? Oh, I see. Only $720K, eh? No-one will remember you for that. So I wish you well, but please refrain from showing me up to my homies ever again, and don't dare to win again, got it? Good luck in Hawaii old timer!!

Yours faithfully
R35

PS What sort of name is Corey anyway?

Records are meaningless unless you achieve something in return.

I give him credit for shooting the lights out, but when he's 48th on sunday, we'll talk.

We can talk over lunch.

Yep, Greater Milwaukee champion. Or US Bank Championship of Milwaukee. Or The Milwaukee Lite Keg Champion. Or the US Bud Lite Championships of Milwaukee.

Yep, he's a standout. Had he done this in a tournament with some playas in it, I might be more impressed. Where were any of the top 10?

Good on him for winning, but this is obviously a cake tournament for most of the guys out there.

Anyone wanna put a case on where he finishes in Hawaii? 12 beers says 48th.

Because of the rain delay, the TV coverage on CBS ended but they had the wisdom of having The Golf Channel as back up. I switched over there and watched it all the way through the end. I'll never forget his 4 wood at the US Open. That was as gritty a shot as I've ever seen.

He did a hell of a job managing his last round yesterday. I don't think he missed a fairway...

I love it when someone who has long since been written off comes off the canvas for a knockout.

And DaveE, is that some sort of hollandaise sauce there with the entree'??
