Buffing clubs up.

OK I bought two new clubs of ebay a new cleveland wedge and a titleist 975 j with a graff prolite stiff 8.5 degrees.

I payed £25 for the cleveland wedge. In good condition.

And £13 for the titty.

Anyway my q the face on the titlesit is perfect as well as the rest of the club bar a line of light sky marks.

If I could spruce these clubs up a little like get rid of the sky marks and make triple what I paid.

Anyone know how to get rid of sky marks?

That J is a steal....im not sure what you can do about the skymarks, try soapy wated and a nylon brush with somewhat stiff bristles, then wax it up and see what it looks like

8.5 and 7.5 degree drivers allways go for dirt cheap. I got my 983 E 8.5 for 90 dollars american. I also got my 7.5 Taylor Made 540 for 60 last year.

True...Titleist usually keep fairly good retail value. I got a Cleveland Tour Action Wedge in the fall for 50 canadian and I love it. Cleveland's wedges are the best in the game, better then Vokey IMO.

Just got this through the post earlier I can't understand how someone skys a club so bad.

Are these skymarks repairable? I hope they are it is a good club with a x-stiff shaft and 9.5*

You can see light sky marks on the top right.

£30 which equals $60 odd, I got it off a a friend who works for titleist he posted down to me. He has approx 100 titleist clubs so he gave me it dirt cheap. He will be sorting me out with the rest off my bag later in the year he already got me a set of wedges.

Why do you need to buy old clubs off ebay when your friend works for titleist. Seems a bit odd.
