I'm finally back

Finally back from Florida. I drove all the way down (1600+ mi.) with about an hour's sleep in GA. The other location for the company I work for is in Fort Lauderdale. Doral is about 15-20 min. away and TPC is right up the road. My boss played Doral last week. I can't wait to play these come winter time when I can bring a truck down and stay a couple days. He said Doral was just ridiculously long. Good to be home again but what's with this heat wave, I was hoping for some cooler weather. Today is a recovery day anyway, I had a pickup outside Atlanta and drove straight through 18hrs. home.

You were in GA??? And didnt call and get in 18??? Hell, I would even give you a bill for truck repairs so you would have an excuse for the down time. Too many nice courses down here to not bring the sticks.

How the heck can you play in that heat? I nearly killed myself unloading that truck. The repair excuse would be tough. My boss had the truck checked out and maintainence done before we left, besides it's an 06 Freightliner. Once I get my own business off the ground for real hopefully I'll have time to stop and do whatever I want. Preferrably in the winter months though.

Ezra are people generally in a good mood when your moving their stuff?

It can be tough, especially when you're working for someone else and they have made a bad deal with the customer. The jobs I did myself were flawless and customers were satisfied with the results and price. Unfortunately most companies are run by owners who still have an attitude from 1950 regarding customer satisfaction.

hummm...... unloading the truck is ok but too hot to golf????

LOL. know the feeling Ez, was trying to sand and finish a wood countertop I made for a client today out in their driveway, sweat dripping off me, splattering in the polyurethane. Its tough having to work for a living in this heat.
