Your top response is closest to my preround, although I generally don't hit hit every club, just the wedges and my 5 and 7 irons, the 4 wood and the Driver. I might switch that up and hit the 6 and 8, but that is generally what I do. I have gone out one time with out practicing my putting at all. Both groups ahead of me failed to show so they sent us earlier than my tee time, the way I putt it didn't make a huge difference though.

Go to bed at 2. Wake up for 8:50 tee time at 8. Get to course at 8:30. Take 6 practice swings. Hit 275 yard drive. Shoot 72. Thats what i did today. I regret it now

Once in a great while I'll hit balls first. About 1/4 of the time I'll chip and putt for 10minutes. Usually I stretch for a minute, take 20 swings with a 5iron and tee one up. I don't put much pressure on the 1st swing. I've made a double on the 1st and shot 82 and made a birdie on it and shot 92.

I always play right after work so I get there, sign in at the pro shop, take a few practice swings, and then tee up with my 3 wood for #1, a 390 yard par 4 with a dogleg left.

OR

I head off #10 and hit the big dog as far as I can.

This is a tough one. I do a number for each round, so I picked the last that I do.
1) For morning round, Make sure I have my Bloody Mary, Cigar and coffee for the first hole.
2) Make sure the cooler is full, although recently it has been a flask of Crown Royal and Diet Sprite as beer seems to wear me down on the course in the summer, and I drink less of the Crown Royal. The bag guys at the course look at me like I'm Nuts when I show up with a cup of coffee, a small thermos for the bloody mary, an extra cup of coffee in the thermos, a 32 oz cup of ice for the CR and Diet Sprite, and a 52 oz jug of extra ice. Although I usually stash the coffee thermos in the bag with my flask so it less rediculous.
3) Check for 14 clubs and 30 balls. What else do I need?
4) Stretch a little
5) Swing the club a few times, then tee it up with the big dog.

I almost always have a coffee on the first hole in the morn.

Lately I've been drinking a redbull or two on the course. Those things really work well for me.

I'd say I do a few chips, and miss a few putts, take 5 or 6 practice swings with my driver then go.

Most the time I'm not early enough to chip and putt though.. 6 putts, no chips I guess is my avg warmup.

Chris.

I guess your first option is best describing my pre-round. I putt first for a bit, nothing inside of 20 ft. Then hit balls, SW, 9i, 7i, 4i, 3W, driver, then my first tee shot depending on course. Then ill get a snack, then chip for 10, then putt until my tee time, this time nothing outside of 20, maybe even 15ft.

This is wat i do b4 tourneys and when im trying to prepare, normal round just out with friends and stuff its putt/chip, hit a few balls in the practise net at my home course, then go bomb my 3W or 2i off the 1st tee.

The big dog

In warmer weather, I frequently hit my best drive of the day off #1, and I do it by swinging a couple of irons [together] maybe 5 or 6 times, then teeing up the big dog and letting rip. I used to hit 10-20 balls on the practice range, but in warm weather, I get dehydrated and tired quickly enough: hitting pre-round balls only makes me tired quicker.

In cooler weather, I often have big-time stiffness issues on the first tee, and no matter what I do to warm up, I hit it lousy until the 3rd or 4th hole. Swinging clubs doesn't seem to help; only hitting the ball, carrying my bag down the fairway, hitting the ball again, etc. Takes a full-body warmup, in other words. If I hit practice balls in cold weather, I hit them poorly and lose confidence.

I like it when there is a practice green to let me hit some chip shots and putts. Unfortunately, the course I play most often has had to close its practice green. Aye yi yi! That stinks. The other horrible issue there now is that the 17th and 18th greens have both died this summer. They've put up a sign in the pro shop saying the greens will be rebuilt in the fall. It's the closest course to me with good greens fees.

It depends. The course which our league plays on has no driving range, so the most I can do is chip and putt. I always do this on Thursdays because I always get to the course with time for it. On Sunday mornings, we get off at 7:00a. I am barely out of bed in time to get to the course on time, so I usually roll up, change shoes, pay, grab a pull cart and then hit the tee box. I feel my scores might be better if I warmed up a bit first....

Well, deends on my time frame, since I go out early I can usually get off early. Usually, though, I do closest to your first...

If it is an odd numbered day I start with the 9, then the 3, then TS then Driver then short game. On even days I do an 8 then a 4.

Of course, you did not have the choice of a little alone time!

I do some stretches and practice swings then tee up with my 3 iron (not confident enough with my driver yet).

Hopefully i then split the fairway
