Getting over the hump

This could either be a good thread or very stupid, here it goes...

I'm on the verge of really starting to play well, i can feel it, one day soon something is just going to click and it'll be hopefully downhill from there for awhile.

i've been floating at about where i'm at for 2 years or so, and have been putting in good time, yet my scores haven't really changed...

is it me, am i not practicing right? am i not focusing on the right aspects? or have i gotten as good as i'm ever gonna get

this is my senior year, i want to finish my last year with a bang, (that and maybe some scholarship money) ....are there any ways to help this along ?

i'm trying to restructure my game putting more emphasis on control and its coming along, but i don't know if that's even going to do anything...

i've been working out more, and stretching to help keep me in top shape...but for some reason i think the barrier lies between my ears...

any help would be greatly appreciated

Grind, grind grind. From my voyages, I have found that if even if I do change something for the best, it takes long and hard work. The harder you work, generally, the better you will get.

You already know it's all about practicing and playing. I've gone from being happy with a low 90's score to having it be a total crap round in less than a year. I know what you mean about "feeling" like it's all going to come together and it will. I worked on my chipping and pitching for weeks and it took a little while to show on the course but now the up and downs are at a way higher percentage than ever. Get a solid routine and don't deviate from it when playing under pressure. Keep track of the things that are preventing you from making par on every/any hole and work on these areas. If you are having problems with iron striking/accuracy I highly recommend playing a little while with no driver. This forces course management and using the 4-7 iron a lot. Good luck.
